(CTV News) — In response to comments made by Premier Kenney about the benefit of switching out the RCMP with a new provincial police service, we issued a statement that countered claims of an easy, no-extra-cost-to-municipalities transition, and took the opportunity to reiterate all the benefits that our 3,5000 Member strong presence in Alberta bring to the people and the communities that they live and serve in.
