As shared in a Member Update on June 23, nominations for the 2025 Summer Local Area Representatives (LAR) Elections are now underway, and this is your opportunity to have a say on NPF representation.
Serving as an LAR is also the first step toward deeper involvement in the NPF, including eligibility to run for the Board of Directors. LARs receive an annual stipend worth 6% of a First Class Constable’s salary in recognition of the valuable contribution they make to the well-being of Members of the NPF.
We encourage all Members to think about putting their names forward for the 25 positions available through this summer election. Submit your nomination package here using your NPF Member login email and ID. Packages include the role description, Code of Conduct for Elected Officials, and the nomination form (requires endorsement from three registered Members). Nomination can be submitted now until 11:59 p.m. PST on July 18.
