The past year has truly been one for the books. We finally(!) attained certification and elected our first Board of Directors. Early next year, we’ll formalize the inaugural NPF Board and then we’ll begin the process of bargaining. We’ll provide more information on the potential steps involved in bargaining very soon.
In the meantime, though, we wanted to thank each and everyone one of you for helping us achieve such a milestone year. Our thanks for your votes of support, your ongoing engagement and questions and for believing that NPF will make a difference for you and ~20,000 members in uniform.
At this time of year, particularly, our thoughts are also with those we’ve lost and their friends and family. I know you join us in sending them prayers and support through and beyond the holidays. If you find a moment, please reach out to these folks in your community and let them know you’re thinking of them.
We hope you all find some time to relax and enjoy your own family and friends over the holidays and that those of you who are on duty have peaceful shifts. Stay safe out there, everyone, and enjoy.
