Why the experts think you should vote “Yes” – Tom Stamatakis, CPA

The NPF asked Tom Stamatakis, President of the Canadian Police Association, why he thinks members should vote “Yes” for collective representation by the NPF. Here is what he had to say:

“RCMP members right now have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a positive change for themselves, their colleagues, and their future. Take the time to have your say on working conditions, fairness in your workplace, occupational health and safety with an association created by the members, that will work for the members.”

Tom Stamatakis, President of the Canadian Police Association

Some members reported they haven’t received their voting instructions, or they found them in their “Junk” folder, so the voting instructions were re-sent to all members again on Monday, November 26 through Groupwise. If you still haven’t received your package, please contact the Voter Helpline at 1-833-579-5673, weekdays 08:30-16:30 EST. And please note each member can only vote once.

During the voting phase, it is more important than ever for all members to join the NPF to be kept aware of the voting process. Please share this information with your colleagues who have not yet made their decision to join the NPF.
