The NPF asked Rob Jamieson, President of the Ontario Provincial Police Association, why he thinks members should vote “Yes” for the NPF and collective representation. Here is what he had to say:
“Certification brings together a unified voice for the protection of benefits and working conditions for the members and their families. It gives you the support and ability to protect your rights.” Rob Jamieson, President OPPA
Some members reported they haven’t received their voting instructions, or they found them in their “Junk” folder, so the voting instructions were re-sent to all members again on Monday, November 26 through Groupwise. If you still haven’t received your package, please contact the Voter Helpline at 1-833-579-5673, weekdays 08:30-16:30 EST. And please note each member can only vote once.
During the voting phase, it is more important than ever for all members to join the NPF to be kept aware of the voting process. Please share this information with your colleagues who have not yet made their decision to join the NPF.
