Two of our co-chairs attended the Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Defence meeting

Two of our co-chairs, Peter Merrifield and Brian Sauvé, attended the Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Defence meeting today. Brian spoke on behalf of all NPF members about the importance of fair pay and better resources for all the men and women who serve in Canada’s national police force. 1. Can anyone tell me what our raise is going to be in April?
I have heard retro back to Jan1/2015 and a 3 yr deal at 3% each year????

I read the letter read by our Reps to the Senate and it is right on.

Pay is a big issue-not the only one , but it will go a long way of getting us back into the Top 3 in our universe claim…

The cost of policing is at least 100 grand/yr now. It is sad when a recent Halifax RCMP recruiting info session happened and NO ONE showed up!!

Sadly we are not Canada’s best right now and the student athletes we used to get are all going to Municpal forces.

Not trying to be negative since we do still have some very switched on, dedicated and funny Members!!

Show me the money and I can put up with the rest!
    Keep up the Good Fight!!!

    ALDRIDGE
