The NPF has been and will continue to be a strong voice for members, both internally and publicly.
We have recently updated our website to include an “NPF in the media” page that showcases many of the news stories and profile we’ve achieved all across Canada by speaking out about member issues and the need for national representation.
As we move through this historic time in the RCMP, the NPF will continue to raise awareness and seek solutions for the key issues faced by the men and women who serve Canadians on a daily basis—through the media and directly with decision-makers.
In little more than one year, since we founded the National Police Federation, we have made your voice heard in government, changed legislation, united members and made history by applying for certification as your bargaining agent. We have the expertise, experience and passion to get this job done.
As a reminder, the closing date for our application is May 26. Our membership number on May 26 will be the final number submitted to the Public Service Labour Relations Employment Board. We want to demonstrate the strongest possible support to our employer. Please share this with your colleagues who have not yet made a decision and encourage them to sign up with the NPF.
We’ll continue to update you on our certification progress.
