NPF Advances Your Concerns Re COVID-19 Protections

Over the past two weeks we have received numerous complaints from Members regarding inconsistent messaging across the country, inadequate access to various COVID-19 protections and unnecessary practices that put Members at risk. Your NPF Executive and Regional Directors have advanced your concerns through National and Divisional Occupational Health and Safety Committees, and at all levels of Management.

In response, we have reached out directly to the Commissioner to ask that this be resolved immediately, and we have issued a news release on the same subject to national media [link to news release]. We will continue to monitor and follow this situation closely and to advocate on your behalf.

It is paramount that our Members have the ability to work in as safe an environment as possible during this rapidly evolving pandemic situation. If you or any of your colleagues feel you are at unnecessary risk related to COVID-19, or any workplace practice, please contact your local Board representative.
