The NPF Benevolent Foundation Move to Remember challenge returns September 1, 2022!<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Join us in honouring our fallen Members and supporting their families by registering your pledge to move during the month of September. Run, walk, bike, paddle, roll, swim\u2026the choice is yours! Our goal is to collectively achieve and surpass 246 km of movement as an act of remembrance of our 246+ fallen Members.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Move to Remember 2022 features new ways to participate including categories for cyclists, free options for veterans, children under 12, and seniors, and a new \u201cElite\u201d tier for participants looking for a bigger challenge.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

We are excited to announce the official Move to Remember challenge hashtag\u00a0will be\u00a0#NPFMovetoRemember. We encourage all participants to keep us involved in your movement journey by tagging us in your social posts and using the hashtag.<\/p>\n\n

Why 246+?\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

The \u201c246+\u201d represents fallen Members who have given their lives on duty, and those whose work-related injuries led to suicide. We keep them all in our hearts and minds as a tangible testimony to the risk and sacrifice faced by RCMP Members and their families.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

All proceeds and donations support the National Police Federation Benevolent Foundation, a registered charity dedicated to the help and support of families of fallen Members of the RCMP: in the short or long-term, directly and indirectly.<\/p>\n\n
